Source text - English Duration of Treatment: All subjects received at least one treatment with the test product. Depending on the severity of the head lice infestation, as well the length and thickness of the hair the product remained intimately on the hair and scalp during removal of the nits and lice with the study comb. The mean time that the product was kept on was 64 minutes. During the ensuing week, parents/guardians regularly inspected subjects' hair for head lice and nits, and they administered additional lice removal treatments if needed. At the end of this one-week period, subjects underwent a second round of lice removal treatments at the discretion of their parent/guardian or if the infestation continued.
Translation - Spanish Duración del tratamiento: Todos los sujetos recibieron al menos un tratamiento con el producto de prueba. Según la gravedad de la infestación de piojos en la cabeza, y la longitud y grosor del cabello, el producto permanecía en contacto con el cabello y el cuero cabelludo, durante la remoción de las liendres y piojos con el peine de estudio. El tiempo promedio en que el producto se mantuvo fue de 64 minutos. En la semana subsiguiente, los padres/tutores inspeccionaron frecuentemente el cabello de los sujetos, buscando piojos y liendres, y les administraron tratamientos adicionales para la remoción de piojos en caso de que fuera necesario.
