Bio
After receiving my BA (Honours) degree in Chinese Studies from the University of Oxford, I worked in the private sector in banking for 15 years, before going on to earn an MA in Chinese Languages, Literature and Civilisation from the University of Geneva.
I'm a Full Member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists (through whom I can also provide certified translations), and an Associate of both the Institute of Translation and Interpreting in the UK and the Association of Translation, Terminology and Interpreting in Switzerland.
I grew up first in the German-speaking part of Switzerland and then in the French-speaking part, so I am fluent in these languages, in addition to my native English.
I use my strong arts & humanities background to help clients in the cultural domain bring their messages to life in English and achieve a wider readership.
Other than the arts & humanities, my specialist areas and interests include international cooperation (including NGOs and humanitarian aid foundations) and the lived neurodivergent experience.
