POŠKODENÉ BRZDY
Od týchto udalostí sme so ženou veľmi zle spávali. Tušili sme, no nevedeli čo. Kto to nezažil, nemá predstavu.
Namosúrený som vstal z postele a pozrel som sa z okna. Bývali sme na zvýšenom prízemí, no pouličné svetlo bolo slabé, a tak som videl len akúsi postavu, zrejme opilca, čo sa tackavo dvíha zo zeme vedľa nášho auta. Odhrnul som záclonu, aby som lepšie videl, a oči toho muža sa stretli s mojimi. V tom momente som vybehol z bytu, bosý a v pyžame, a bežal k autu.

DAMAGED BRAKES
Since these events, my wife and I have slept very poorly. We were suspicious, we just didn’t have the full picture. Eva was very nervous and slept, as they say, like a mouse on a bag. Every slam of the front door or the arrival of the car in the parking lot woke her up and she immediately woke me up. Those who have not experienced it have no idea. We were both pretty exhausted from it.
At the beginning of April 1983, it was exactly from the 4th to the 5th of April, my wife woke me up with the fact that someone was at our car. I told her to let me sleep, but she was relentless. Angry, I got out of bed and looked out the window. We used to live on the raised ground floor, but the street light was dim, so I only saw a figure, probably a drunk, wandering off the ground next to our car. I opened the curtain to see better, and the man's eyes met mine. At that moment, I ran out of the apartment, barefoot and in my pajamas, and ran to the car. The man started to run between the houses. I used to be a good runner, but running on gravel and stones was not easy. The man ran away and I went back to check the car. The windows and doors were undamaged, the trunk locked, the wipers, the antenna, the rearview mirrors, everything was in place. Apparently he was just a lost drunk.
