I am a native Russian speaker. While living in Russia I used to be an English teacher, teaching English as a foreign language to the 1st year college students. My area of expertise was philology and I qualified to teach English and Russian. I had a brief experience working as an interpreter for non-profit organisations. In 1999 I moved to the UK and have been living there since. My background in the UK lies in the Accounting and Business studies. I qualified as Accounting Technician. I started working in the Accounts as a Purchase Ledger clerk. Later on in my career I worked for several accounting firms preparing set of financial statements for clients and tax reports. Beside my work, my side-interests involve arts and culture, watercolour painting, digital painting and graphics design. I also developed interest in textiles, namely bobbin lacemaking and primitive weaving.
