Das Einkaufsvolumen umfasst ca. 3,5 Mrd. EUR. Der Einkauf operiert weltweit von verschiedenen internationalen Standorten aus.
Im Rahmen unseres Kostensenkungsprogramms „X on Value“, hat XY gemeinsam mit der ABC AG bei ausgesuchten strategischen Lieferanten Kosten- und Wertanalyse Workshops durchführt. Im Fokus standen kapitalintensive hoch-komplexe Investitionsgüter (Frontend Equipment) und Produktionsmaterialien (Materials). Die Fertigungsanlagen werden für die Herstellung von Mikrochips im Bereich Automobil, Handy-Anwendungen und Kommunikation eingesetzt. Die 30 Workshops fanden innerhalb eines Jahres weltweit an den jeweiligen Fertigungstandorten (Schwerpunkt Japan, Asien und USA) der Halbleiter-Lieferanten statt.
Als Ergebnis aus 30 Workshops in 20 Beschaffungsbereichen konnten folgende Ergebnisse für den Einkauf erzielt werden:

The procurement department operates worldwide from various international locations.
Within the scope of our cost reduction program „X on Value“, the company X, in collaboration with ABC, has conducted cost and value analysis workshops with selected strategic suppliers. Capital-intensive, high-complex investment goods (frontend equipment) and production materials were the focus of the analyses. The manufacturing facilities are utilized for the production of micro-chips in the automotive industry, mobile phone applications and the communication sector. Within one year, 30 workshops were accomplished worldwide at the respective manufacturing locations (mainly in Japan, Asia and USA) of the semi-conductor suppliers.
