Bio

I am a
Brazilian journalist and translator of English and French to Portuguese. I have
over 8 years of experience in translation and transcreation of English-Portuguese
and vice versa. I have worked for four years at the Rio de Janeiro City Hall as
it hosted the 2016 Olympic Games and the 2014 FIFA World Cup, committed to going
beyond the simple translation: I adapted the content to the local culture, did localization
for websites and tailored the texts to make them more attractive to the targeted
public. Other of my clients included the C40 Cities for climate, NGO Viva Rio,
among others. As a former reporter, I am fully committed to a correct grammar
and phrase construction. Since 2019 living and studying in France, I have
achieved the C2 level in French and recently offered translations from French
to Portuguese for Michelin.
