I am an experienced Translator with a experience in the translation and localization industry, skilled in intercultural communication, translating and interpreting. My native language is Romanian and I also speak English, French and Russian.
I have completed my Bachelor’s degree in Translation and Interpretation in French and Russian and the European Master Programme in Conference Interpreting Training in English and French at the University of Bucharest. During my studies I acquired a deep understanding of the strategies and techniques for both translating and interpreting, while also continuously improving my linguistic knowledge in Romanian and the foreign languages that I've studied.
I have experience in translating documents from different domains: financial, scientific, cultural, technical, economical, legal texts, agreements, articles.
I am currently a freelancer translator, interpreter and proofreader and I believe that a deep understanding of the source-text and a good knowledge of the target language are the two key-factors that lead to a good-quality translation, that is adapted to the target audience.
