Bio

Hello, nice to meet you. My name is Adrián.

I have been immersed in English media for more than two decades all the while I was getting my English Studies degree from UNED, the biggest online university in Spain.I also hold the Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English and an English-Spanish Legal Translation course.

Being a native Spaniard and having such English expertise allows me to convey specific nuances to the Spanish-speaking crowd.

I have been a freelance translator from 2015 and I have translated material for a wide range of clients, including
educational institutions, privacy-oriented startups, travel agencies,
law firms, videogame websites and nutrition and health blogsites. I have handled various documentation such as blog entries, essays, FAQ
sections and website content.

I also have been a Volunteer Translator at sites such as permondo.eu and diverse videogame wikis.

To be a good translator you also need to be a writer...but to be a writer you need to be a human! That way you will manage to communicate a message without making it sound like an automated translation. Everyday I come across texts that read exactly like machine-translated drivel and it really saddens me. Why cut the middle man?

You aren't going to please your Spanish-speaking crowd with automated translations! Let us do things the old fashioned way.
