Bio
A native of Egypt, I have been living and studying in the United States for the last 11 years. I work as an associate instructor of Arabic at Indiana University. I am also a passionate freelance translator experienced in the technical, academic, legal, and business fields. I enjoy reading a variety of other subjects, covering the humanities, social sciences and law.
I hold a BA in Islamic Studies and Translation from Al Azhar University in Cairo, Egypt where he studied classical and modern standard Arabic, English and German. I have a translation certificate from the American University in Cairo. Here, I studied communications at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. I also received two certificates in Journalism and Middle Eastern Studies from the American University in Washington DC. I earned my MA from the George Washington University. I also worked at several reputable think tanks in Washington DC including the Atlantic Council and the Arab Gulf States Institute in Washington.
