Source text - English "Intent" refers to the mental state of the individual consisting of the desire or purpose to achieve a particular consequence, or where the consequences the person sees as certain, "substantially", or "practically" certain.

Inferences are factual findings based on common sense.
There is the long-standing inference that a person intends the natural consequences of one’s actions applies to many situations.
The inference will be made in most any circumstances except where there may be evidence to the contrary.
Doubt may be raised as to the specific intent of the person where they suffer from mental illness or where intoxicated.
Generally speaking, the inference requires the assumption that the accused has the capacity to form intent.
The presence of the word "wilfully" in an provision for an criminal code offence "generally signals a subjective mens rea requirement, but the appropriate meaning of the term ‘wilfully’ will depend on the context in which it is found."

Hold the certificate of CATTI International (China Accreditation Test for Translators and Interpreters - International).
I am bilingual in Mandarin and Cantonese, and I speak, read, and write English fluently. I was born in Hong Kong and moved to Canada when I was 12. I had achieved my BA in Criminology and Legal studies. With living experiences in China and Canada, I am intimately familiar with the cultural differences in these countries. Before I have become a full-time freelancer, I used to work as a program coordinator and victim services worker at a non-profit organization in cooperation with the local police force.
I have three years of experience in translation and interpretation from English to Chinese(Simplified, Traditional & Yue/Cantonese), and vice versa. My translation is always adapted to be culturally and emotionally sensitive as I appreciate the importance of them. I enjoy learning, I am a fast learner and detail-oriented, and I always commit to deadlines. I work in compliance with confidentiality.
Some of the genres I have performed translation/interpretation in:
commercial advertising, general business, commercial website, business plan, sales pitch, social sciences, crime reporting, safety awareness, emotional support, law and legal system, environmental, tourism, journalism, history and more.
Additionally, I am skilled in travel writing, and I have my travel blog on Mafengwo, a popular travel guide and info website in China. I am also endeavoring to accomplish the Japanese N3/N2 exam soon in 2021.
