Prior to joining Republican and Somalilandmonitor media groups, I have worked for the ministry of Y.S.& Tourism, I have served as a project manager, team leader, translator, moderator, and fieldwork researcher in several different research-related projects at organizations such as Forcier Consulting (F.C), Public Services International (PSI), Northern Management for Consultancy, based in Nairobi, TNS Nairobi, Somaliland National Youth Organisation (SONYO), Somaliland Humanitarian and Social Affairs Association (SOHASCO), and International Organization for Migration (IOM). I was also a Freelance Translator and translated hundreds of documents for PSI, Somaliland Ministries of Information and Youth, the BBC, TNS, and has extensive experience in the field of social research. Additionally, I was a journalist and university lecturer with vast print and digital journalism experience spanning over five years. I worked as an Editor, Assistant Broadcaster, and in management and consultancy positions with The Somaliland National Basketball Federation, Ministry of Youth, Sports and Tourism, Republican English Newspaper, Somalilandsun, and Radio Hargeisa. I earned a BSc in LLB from the University of Hargeisa (UOH), Somaliland. Finally, I
