Source text - English The Syria Cross-Border Humanitarian Fund (“SCHF”) Operation Manual aims to address humanitarian needs through an inclusive and coordinated approach by working with a variety of partners in a complex operational context. In doing so, and taking into account the complex operational environment of conflict torn Syria, the SCHF aims in particular to maintain and strengthen partnerships with Syrian NGOs and foster cooperation and coordination within and between working groups and humanitarian organizations.

Source text - English The Egyptian Electricity Holding Company (EEHC) signed a 12-year long term service fuel efficiency improvement contract with ATD Combustors (ATDC) in August 2016, where ATDC would invest in the rehabilitation and uprating of 2 * 300 MW dual-fuels (FO and natural gas), fired units in Walidia thermal power plant belonging to UEEPC. Both boilers were designed in 1990s each having a maximum continuous rating of 1085 tph steam flow, A key objective of the contract is to improve the plant’s efficiency by reducing fuel consumption per kwh in the range between 4% to 10%.
Translation - Arabic وقعت الشركة القابضة لكهرباء مصر (EEHC) عقدًا طويل الأجل لمدة 12 عامًا لتحسين كفاءة الوقود مع شركة تطوير التقنيات المتقدمة لغرف الاحتراق (ATDC) في أغسطس 2016. ستستثمر الشركة في إصلاح الوقود المزدوج ورفع مستواه لـ 2 * 300 ميجاواط (زيت الوقود والغاز الطبيعي) عن طريق إطلاق وحدات توليد الطاقة الحرارية تابعة لشركة الوجه القبلى لإنتاج الكهرباء (UEEPC). تم تصميم هذه المراجل في التسعينيات حيث أن لكل منهما أقصى ما يمكن من الإمداد المتواصل قدره 1085 طن في الساعة. ويتمثل أحد الأهداف الرئيسية للعقد في تحسين كفاءة المحطة من خلال تقليل استهلاك الوقود لكل كيلوواط في الساعة في النطاق الذي يتراوح بين 4 ٪ إلى 10%.
