Translator and Conference Interpreter since 1984, experienced in technical translation, simultaneous and consecutive interpreting, and in organizing and co-ordinating teams of translators and interpreters.
Has worked on practically all types of subjects and for many prestigious and diversified entities, such as the United Nations (UNDP, WFP, UNOPS, UNCTAD, UNFPA, ILO, WHO, FAO, PBF), European Union, Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), OSCE, NATO, UEFA, President of the Portuguese Republic, Royal House of the Netherlands, President of the Republic of Brazil, President of the Republic of Mozambique, Portuguese Parliament, Prime Minister’s Office, Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, Prince Charles Foundation, British and US embassies in Lisbon, as well as many ministries and governmental institutions, NGOs, banks, trade unions, law firms, pharmaceutical companies, universities, broadcasting networks, courts of law, etc.
European Union’s accredited interpreter (SCIC/EP ACI) since 1998, works throughout the year for the EU institutions (European Commission / European Council / European Parliament / European Court of Justice).
