Hi there!

I'm Cris, a qualified professional linguist with 11 years of experience
in the language industry who can translate EN/PT/CA-ES. Originally from the
land of Don Quixote in the vibrant heart of Spain, I have recently moved back
home after having spent almost 11 years living and working in the UK.

Regarding my qualifications and
experience, I have an MA in Translation and Interpretation studies and have
been working in the translation field since I graduated from university in 2008.

About my specialisations, I translate
content related to the following sectors:

- Marketing and e-commerce

- Travel, culture, and entertainment

- Apps, software and websites localisation

- Health,
nutrition, lifestyle, wellbeing, and outdoor sports (mainly cycling)

In terms of my work experience, I enjoy working on creative
translation and transcreation projects, as I have been doing for several
worldwide known fashion and design brands for the last few years. On top of
that, I provide linguistic services for two of the Big Five tech companies in
the world on a daily basis, and I usually translate
social media and marketing content for various international hotels, outdoor
sports and travel brands. Last but not least, I have some valuable experience
working as an EN<>ES interpreter for business meetings in London, Madrid
and Barcelona, and at public notary offices when my linguistic services are
required before the notary in order to purchase a property or complete the transfer
of company shares.

A little about me: I am a curious traveller, having visited 67 countries so far (and
counting!), and I am passionate about cycling – particularly road
cycling.
