Russian to English: Belorus changes it's retirement policy
Source text - Russian В апреле 2016 года президент Белоруссии Александр Лукашенко подписал указ об изменениях в системе пенсионного обеспечения с учетом социально-демографических условий. С 1 января 2017 года в стране началось плавное повышение пенсионного возраста ежегодно на 6 месяцев.
В 2020 году для граждан страны также увеличивается минимальный страховой стаж, необходимый для получения трудовой пенсии до 17,5 лет вместо 17. При этом, этот стаж будет ежегодно расти, пока в 2025 году не достигнет 20 лет.
Translation - English In April of 2016 the President of Belorus, Aleksandr Lukashenko signed a policy on changes in the system of pension provisioning by taking into account socio-demographic conditions. Since January 1, 2017 the country began to gradually increase retirement age by 6 months annually.
In the year of 2020 there is an increase in minimum work insurance for the citizens which is required to receive retirement pension up to 17.5 years instead of 17. In addition, this experience will increase annually, until in 2025 it reaches 20 years.
