Lela Kiria has 15 years of experience in translation/interpretation. Her target languages are English and Georgian. Her translation experience covers different topics, as her work experience in project management. In addition, she gives lectures at the graduate level, works on research projects and gives consultancy. Lela has her BA in Linguistics from Tbilisi State University of Language and Cultures. She has earned her Master’s degree in Management at New York University back in 1999. She also has the other MA degree in Gender Studies form Central European University. Lela was a visiting scholar at Columbia University, US for three semesters in 2010-2012. She focused on topics like sustainable development, the role of government in advancing corporate sustainable development,food security, climate change and gender issues.
