Bio

I love books, films, music... basically everything that tells us a good story. There are good stories all over the world. Learning another language was just a start. Becoming a translator was inevitable.


Hi, my name is Angie Costa.

Born and raised in Brazil, I fell in love with languages as a teenager. English was a code that I needed to crack in order to understand my favorite songs, movies, books and games.

Later on I fell in love with the idea of being a bridge between two nations. I wasn’t able to travel much but after my first trip abroad I figured I could keep the feeling for a bit longer by becoming a freelance translator.

I have a thing for music, movies, books... I prefer the old ones, the classics, but I’m ok with anything that tells a good story.
