English to Arabic: translating an article
Source text - English The translator's task is to engender conditions under which the source language author and the target language reader can interact with one another (Lotfipour, 1997).
In the process of such a rapid exchange of information and for the purport of ameliorating cultural contacts, one thing is ineluctably foreordained - Translating. Bearing these facts in mind, the question is: how can someone become a good translator?
In order to be a good translator, a list of points outlined to provide the best possible translations you are expected to offer as a good translator.
Being proficient in a second language is in no way enough to engender quality translations. Moreover, you require fluency in the source language or the language you would be translating from. You should be a native speaker of either the target language or the language you would be translating into.
