I worked for five years as a proofreader and copy editor for an academic journal of mechanical sciences and engineering, with some translation work on the side to one member of the editorial board.
As a translator, my work has been mainly in the literary field, specifically in poetry. I have translation work published directly or indirectly in blogs and printed, and online magazines. Most of them in Brazil.
I have two published books so far, both of poetry. My first was written in Brazilian Portuguese, my native language, and the second was written in English, while I was living in the UK, (for nearly ten years). In addition, I have been writing a blog for more than 10 years, in which I publish some of my personal translations and creative writing too.
