Source text - English A drawback of current monitoring or troubleshooting systems is the inability to analyze software configuration problems in a computer system. The computing model used in modern environments such as Microsoft Windows, which is based on usage of numerous sophisticated and error-prone applications having many components interacting in a complex way, requires significant effort for system service and support. Many of these problems are software configuration errors that commonly occur when users add new programs and devices to their computers. Similarly, software configuration errors may occur due to the corruption of certain important system files, resources, and setups. Another source of software configuration error is “unexpected” user behavior that was not envisioned by the software developers. For example, a user may inadvertently delete a file needed by the application.

identifying devices of other users who are identified as being acquaintances of the first user; and
sending, from the computer system that implements the social networking service and to devices of the other users, a message that is generated based at least in part on the received electronic message from the first user,
wherein the message is sent to other users for display in chronological order with other messages sent to the other users from others of their acquaintances.
2. The method of claim 1, wherein the device associated with the first user is a GPS-enabled mobile device and the message that is generated is based at least in part on location information received from the mobile device.
