organes multicellulaires de notre corps. C’est la protéine structurale fibreuse qui compose les fibres blanches (fibres de col- lagène) de la peau, des tendons, des os, des cartilages et de tous les autres tissus conjonctifs. On le trouve également répandu dans les substances gélatineuses du corps, comme dans le corps vitré de l’œil où
il joue un rôle au niveau de la fermeté. En d’autres mots, le collagène est la protéine naturelle qui compose le support de la struc- ture du corps et est la substance primaire du tissu conjonctif. C’est ce tissu fibreux conjonctif qui tient notre corps ensemble.
