I am Brazilian, so Portuguese (Br) is my mother tongue. I am an enthusiastic, curious, competent and responsible translator. I worked as an English Teacher for over 10 years which made me quite familiar with grammar rules and structures. I have got involved in translation studies at the University (B.A. program in Letters - Portuguese/English at Estácio de Sá) and I'm currently enrolled in a distance learning 15-month course on Translation at Brasillis Idiomas. I have always shown a great interest in subtitling and I'm good at working with the application Subtitle Workshop. I have a Bachelor degree in Law (2003-2007) and I have sat the ILEC, YLE, FCE, CAE and CPE Cambridge examinations, (the last one set at Level C2 of the Common European Framework of Reference). I have a passion for languages, especially English and Portuguese. As a translator, I always meet the deadline and deliver high quality materials.
