British/French native and trained linguist, I was educated in the UK where I spent my early career as a bilingual sales assistant, followed by corporate communications and investor relations assistant. I have since worked in Luxembourg and Brussels, both as a professional editor (five years), and human resources specialist (two years). I took on freelance translation projects for a total of three years in the following domains: press/journalism, finance, corporate/business communication, marketing/catalogue, literature, art and film.

My main working language is English, but collaborating with French-speaking colleagues and partners throughout my career has meant that translation and linguistics have been a constant theme and interest of mine.

I am a diligent writer with an expert eye for detail and proven ability in meeting deadlines.
