I’ve Always wanted to
be a translator. I’m a Native Arabic Speaker, with a Bachelor degree in English
Arabic simultaneous interpretation, I have worked in translation for the past
Five years. In my current position as a freelance translator I translate
documents and audio from English to Arabic and vice versa; in addition, I
perform verbal language interpretation on occasion, In addition to
localization, Transcreation, Bilingual social media Management, bilingual
AdWords management, Linguistic Quality Assurance, Transcription, and some voice
over.


During the past five years, I’ve translated over 2 Million words, and
Transcribed over 1000 hours of Audio & video files, done more than 500 hours of Proofreading and 400 hours of Linguistic
Quality Assurance. My translation Fields of Expertise include but are not
limited to Legal, Financial, Fashion, General, Marketing, IT, Technical,
Medical, Culture and arts, Tourism, Social media Ads.

My work as a
freelancer taught me Time Management, Multitasking, Working Under Pressure,
Teamwork, to be Detail Oriented, Marketing for my skills, Discipline and
Commitment, That Constant Learning is key, and that Hard work pays off.

Also, I spent one year
as an Army translator/interpreter for the MONUSCO during which I translated
thousands of documents and correspondence between the Egyptian forces and the
other forces within the UN Peacekeeping forces and the UN offices. Besides
providing Interpretation for workshops, training, and meetings.


Beside my Translation work experience, I'm tech savvy, for example If I face a
technical problem or something isn’t working, I’m not the sort to simply call
IT and wait. I’ll Just check and try to solve the problem first and make sure
everything is working.
