Bio
I am a freelance translator, studying for my master degree in English Literature and Language specialized in Translation and Localization in Korea.
Before starting my study in the graduate school, I had worked for one of the major international shipping companies for five years. I started my career in Seoul branch and could expand my career path in Japan and Thailand, traveling many other countries such as Australia, New Zealand, China, and Singapore.
Working in Seoul office, I was in charge of translating news about shipping industry from Korean to English and reporting to the regional office in Tokyo.
Also, I was involved in one of the company's projects-compliance program, where I could put a lot of efforts to translate legal documents in English regarding Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption into Korean to create training materials for Korean colleagues.
The last project where I had worked as a project supervisor in Thailand truly granted me broader sight to work in an international setting. From that project, I have learned not only how to manage a project but also how to communicate in English properly both spoken and written in a business environment.
With strong competence in languages and work experience, I would be very happy to help for your projects or small works where requires my translation skills.
