I have been working for over twenty years in Japan as a professional editor and translator. My main clients are currently several metropolitan hospitals in the greater Tokyo area, a national research center, a large material handling firm, and private clients in the medical, pharmaceutical, and manufacturing fields.

I typically edit or translate technical documents (normally from Japanese into English) including original articles, case reports, and associated documents (tables, figures, etc.), guidelines, abstracts, Power Point presentations, application and referral letters, institutional websites, corporate websites, user's manuals, etc.

As a translator and editor, I am versatile, sensitive to the stylistic requirements of various genres of text, and capable of quick turnaround.
