Source text - Spanish En Estados Unidos, el cine tuvo un éxito arrollador, por una peculiar circunstancia social: al ser un país de inmigrantes, muchos de los cuales no hablaban el inglés, tanto el teatro como la prensa o los libros les estaban vedados por la barrera idiomática, y así el cine mudo se transformó en una fuente muy importante de esparcimiento para ellos.
Viendo las perspectivas de este negocio, y basándose en su patente sobre el kinetoscopio, Thomas Alva Edison intentó tomar el control de los derechos sobre la explotación del cinematógrafo.
El asunto no solo llegó a juicio, de Edison contra los llamados productores independientes, sino que se libró incluso a tiro limpio.
Como consecuencia, los productores independientes emigraron desde Nueva York y la costa este, donde Edison era fuerte, hacia el oeste, recientemente pacificado.

In the United states, cinema had an overwhelming success, for a bizarre social circumstance: For a country of immigrants, many of those who don't speak English, both theater and books were inaccessible due to the language barrier, and so then cinema transformed into a very important source of recreation for them.
Seeing the prospects of this business, and based on his patent of the kinetoscope, Thomas Alva Edison tried to take control of the rights of the cinematograph.
The issue didn't only come to trial, between Edison and the independent producers, but he even managed to get away cleanly.
As a result, the independent producers moved from New York from New York and the east coast, where Edison was strong, towards the west, recently pacified.

I offer general translation services in Spanish to English, as I am new I am willing to provide a sample translation.
Since I was a kid i've always been fascinated by language, the way that language could captivate us through moving words, capture our innermost feelings and paint a picture to another who may never experience what we do and see the world in the same manner by mere matter of a string of sounds or letters.
Being raised in multilingual household in a cultural diverse country I can see and appreciate how language influences society and brings people together. As well as having written poetry I can apreciate the beautiful art that masterful use of language can be and how it can enrich people's lives.
All of This put together would drive me to study languages to better be able to express myself and communicate, and become highly skilled in doing so, to become a valuable asset for clients.
