I am a mexican civil engineer with advanced knowledge in english and brazilian portuguese.
At university I used to translate topics from diverse engineering books from english to spanish for my professors. Aftwerards I got a job as an engineer in a multinational company where I served sometimes as a consecutive interpreter at online reunions with clients.

Because of this I got motivated to keep up with the translation work and I got some translation projects in Mexico, working as well sometimes as a consecutive interpreter.

Then I started travelling among Central America and to fund my travel I kept translating tourism articles for some hostels in Guatemala, Costa Rica and Panama. As well I helped some of these hostels to localize their webpage and helped them as a consecutive interpreter at job interviews, meetings with suppliers and project reunions. In Colombia I've worked as a consecutive interpreter for a nun-fund organization.

All of these has been in the language combinations of english to spanish and vice versa, but as I worked in Brazil for one year in an engineering company I'm looking forward to translate from or to portuguese.
