Born in Munich, Germany, I enjoyed a Classics Education combined with studying modern languages, such as English and French. Sports and competition led me to travelling and developed my interest in sports medicine as well as my love for languages. When I settled in Mallorca, Spain, I learned both Spanish and Catalan and decided to combine my main interests by working with languages in the medical field, as a translator. Then I took the chance to work as a hospital interpreter, and, after 15 years in the job, I decided it was time to get a university degree. It took me 4 and a half wonderful years to finish (June 2020), my excellent marks reflect my enthusiasm. Now the academic degree, added to my +25 years' experience as a hospital interpreter and freelance medical translator, benefits my clients.
