My name is Jorge de Pau. I am a partner at De Pau Business Services in Brownsville, Texas. I am a native of Brownsville, Texas with translating experience of 22 years in various fields of translation including biographic documents (certificates of birth/death/marriage), legal documents such as divorce and adoption decrees, general affidavits as well as academic transcripts and diplomas. My language pairs include one hundred percent fluency in English and Spanish. I am able to read and translate/interpret simultaneously. My rates for translation are .17 per word translation and proofreading. Our most recent customer is Viva Media Group, a mainstream advertising company that subcontracted us for the translation of the City of Brownsville Housing Authority website. Other customers include the Historic Association for the City of Brownsville where I gracefully donated all translation services for the tourist information booths located throughout downtown Brownsville. Another is the Secretary of Public Education in Victoria Tamaulipas where we were the official academic transcript translators for all Cameron County students continuing their education in the State of Tamaulipas until a new law came in effect last year requiring the Academic Translation be done in Mexico with an official government translator. We are the official transcript translator/evaluator for First Baptist School and St Joseph Academy in Brownsville, Texas. Students who have studied at any one the aforementioned schools and continuing education abroad must pass through us for certification and translation services. The City of La Feria, Texas was also one if our customers when we were contracted in 2007 to translate the Emergency Storm Siren Information page to name a few.
