I have worked as a freelance English <> Japanese technical translator for the past 15 years, including two years as an in-house at the world's leading marine electronics devices manufacturer in Japan and several months at an IT software company also in Japan as well.

I have completed countless number of translation projects in a variety of specialty fields (IT, technical, legal, religion, business, to name a few) throughout my career but currently narrowing my focus down to mostly IT translation because I love reading and writing about IT technology. 

i am also a certified Java programmer.

Having been raised in both American and Japanese culture, I am able to provide proficient general translation as well, with subtle nuances fully understood and taken into consideration -- which are often misunderstood or simply unrecognized, by non-native speakers.

I am married to a U.S. citizen and am a father of 2.
