I work as a freelance translator from English (British and American) into standard German.

German is my mother tongue, I have studied English and have lived in the UK for several years where I worked as an editor for a trade magazine catering to the financial industry.

As part of my past employments, I have been translating since I left uni in 2003, but only began translating full time (along with continuing being a journalist and an author) in 2014.

I mainly translate literature, but also non-fiction books and financial communications material.

I have previously worked in film production and mental health and have a thing for cooking, so those are the other areas for my services.

I'll wrap up my Diploma in Translation (CIol) in 2015.
