I hold an overseas master degree (RMIT) on translation and interpreting, during the period, I practiced translation and interpreting skills over various domains, such as medicine, merchandise, real estate, import and export trades etc.
In my last job, I worked at Parsons Brinkerhoff (WSP), Shanghai office as an interpreter and project assistant of structure discipline. In that position, I got chances to practice translation and interpreting skills about building structure and meeting consecutive interpreting (sometimes simultaneous interpreting) skill. I served the company from 2013 till 2017; before that, I practiced in Ajisen (China) Shanghai office as interpreter and PR assistant, in that job, I accessed and learned some basic knowledge about risk investment, company listing and financial consultancy etc. My first job after graduation was a position of English teacher in AngLi educational organization.
I am passionate, responsible and communicative; One outstanding character of mine is I hold strong curiosity over various disciplines, such as auto mould, mechanism, investment etc. I love to learn something about each of them, while develop comparatively professional knowledge on only a few, and this is one important reason I consider myself a competitive freelance interpreter.
