The above briefly describes my primary competencies acquired through 20 years in the translation and localization world.

I am a native Dane with a master’s degree in German and a bachelor’s degree in English from Danish Aarhus School of Business. Both degrees include legal, technical and economic translation fields in both languages. I am state-authorized to translate and certify documents between German and Danish.

My professional experience ranges from the largest Danish tele company, through a European machine solution company, a small-sized Danish translation company followed by one of the largest localization companies in Denmark. March 2014 I founded my own company as a high-standard freelance translator/editor/communicator.

I translate and proofread almost all kinds of text types from German and English into Danish: technical, marketing, finance, legal, commerce, medical, science, tourism, engineering, automotive, cooking, environment, furniture. I translate and proofread almost the same text types from Swedish and Norwegian into Danish.

Brands and areas I work with include major German automotive manufacturer, major German technology solutions supplier, major US banking institution, European Commission, European Parliament, various German high technology manufacturers, major Danish production companies, major Danish insurance companies, major Danish energy solutions supplier, various patent bureaus, various lawyers.

As a very experienced localizer, I am not afraid of entering into new fields and I am fully aware of the delivery and technology demands of global companies today.

I use Trados Studio as my main translation tool, and am familiar with MemoQ, MemSource, Across as well as SAP SE63 and other online tools.
