I translate from Swedish and English to Spanish, my
mother tongue. I have been working as a full-time professional translator since
1998, first in Sweden, and since 2001 in Madrid, Spain.
I am a sworn Swedish to Spanish translator authorized
by both Sweden (Kammarkollegiet) and Spain (Ministry of Foreign Affairs of
Spain). Apart from working with official translations, I collaborate with
translation agencies, companies, public institutions and organizations in
different fields, mainly Technology, Law, Automotive, Marketing, Economy and
Medicine. I also translate texts of a more general character.
During my career as freelance translator I have worked
for more than 50 international translation agencies and countless corporate
customers and private persons. I have also translated a dozen books to Spanish,
mainly from Swedish (both fiction and essays).
I am a full member of the American Translators’
Association (ATA, no. 229140), the Swedish Federation of Sworn Translators
(FAT, no. 667), the Swedish Association of Professional Translators (SFÖ, no.
768) and the Swedish-Spanish Chamber of Commerce (EM-1716).
