Source text - Italian Al numero 13 di via del Portico d'Ottavia, nel tratto fra vicolo di Sant'Ambrogio e il passaggio che conduce a via di Sant'Angelo in Pescheria, a fianco dei ruderi romani del Portico, c'è un vecchio portone di legno che si apre inaspettatamente all'interno su un vasto cortile circondato da logge rette da colonne antiche, simile più a chiostro che a cortile d'abitazione. In questa casa ho abitato per 12 anni. Era una casa suggestiva e piena di bizzarrie, una casa in cui ci si poteva perdere...
La Casa era ormai splendidamente restaurata, il cortile ben illuminato, eppure la discesa verso le cantine continuava ad incutermi timore. Confesso di non esserci mai andata, anche se una di queste cantine era la mia, ma l'oscurità e il carico della Casa al disopra mi pesavano. Le pensavo piene di topi e univo questa immagine con il ricordo, lontanissimo nel tempo e forse uno dei miei primi ricordi, di me bambina nella Torino del dopoguerra, con mia madre e mia nonna che armate di scopa scacciavano grossi topi dal cortile...
Translation - Romanian La numarul 13 pe strada Portico d'Ottavia, pe bucata de drum dintre straduta Sant'Ambrogio si pasajul ce duce la strada Sant'Angelo in Pescheria, langa ruinele romane ale Porticului, se gaseste o veche poarta de lemn ce se deschide pe neasteptate spre interior catre o ampla curte inconjurata de galerii deschise sustinute de coloane antice, ce pa mai degraba curtea unei manastiri decat a unei locuinte. In aceasta casa am locuit 12 ani. Era o casa impresionanta si plina de lucruri excentrice, o casa in care te puteai pierde...
Casa era somptuos restaurata, curtea era bine iluminata, insa coborarea catre pivnite continua sa-mi insufle teama. Marturisesc ca nu am coborat niciodata acolo, chiar daca una dintre acele pivnite era a mea, intrucat intunericul si grandoarea casei ma copleseau. Imi imaginam ca sunt pline de soareci si asociam acea imagine cu amintirea atat de indepartata - poate una dintre primele mele amintiri - a acelor vremuri cand eram doar o copila si locuiam la Torino, dupa razboi, impreuna cu bunica si mama care, cu matura in mana, alungau sobolanii din curte...

término de nuestro viaje.
Bellver es una pequeña población situada a la falda de una colina, por detrás de la cual se ven elevarse, como las gradas de un colosal
anfiteatro de granito, las empinadas y nebulosas crestas de los Pirineos.
Los blancos caseríos que la rodean, salpicados aquí y allá sobre una ondulante sábana
de verdura, parecen a lo lejos un bando de palomas que han abatido su vuelo para apagar su sed en las aguas de la ribera.
Una pelada roca, a cuyos pies tuercen
éstas su curso, y sobre cuya cima se notan aún remotos vestigios de construcción, señala la antigua línea divisoria entre el condado de Urgel y el más importante
de sus feudos.
