I am a member of the National Register of Public Service Interpreters (NRPSI No 13422) and Association of Police and Courts Interpreters (APCI). I have 9 years interpreting experience for law courts, police, NHS, solicitors, Leeds and Hull City Council, UKBA, business meetings and seminars in Channel Islands, United Kingdom and Latvia. Also I am fluent in Russian language and currently I study French.

Having successfully achieved B.A. (Hons) at Latvian Culture Academy, my first career was in journalism. This skill taught me to listen, convey and adapt information accurately. Part of my routine work was to translate and adapt foreign articles for different magazines. During my career I also worked briefly for TV and translated films from English into Latvian and vice verse.
Currently I am based in Kingston upon Hull, East riding of Yorkshire and I regularly work as
interpreter and translator. |
