I am a multilingual translator, editor and QM. Also a composer and voice talent. Born in Mexico City in 1986. Moved to Texas in 2006 to attend the University of Texas at Austin. I studied Government, French and Spanish and earned my BA in 2010. I also speak Portuguese! Currently working as a freelance translator, editor and QM from English-Spanish MX, English-Spanish LA, English-Spanish US and English-International Spanish. Main focus in Legal, Business, Marketing, Political and Health Sciences.

My passion for languages derives from my experience of meeting people from all over the world and understanding that it is important to be able to communicate with other people from other cultures in order to understand and learn from their traditions, culture and history. One of the main reasons as to why I have always been drawn into languages is music. I am a huge fan of composers like Caetano Velosso, Melody Gardot, Fernando Delgadillo, Jack Johnson, George Brassens and so many others, and their words and melodies have changed my life forever. Their music has influenced me so much that I have composed my own pieces in English, Spanish and Portuguese. My first job as a translator in late 2009 was as a volunteer for a french NGO called Une Option de Plus for little over 2 years. UOP is based in Ecuador and seeks to assist children who come from low income families and provide them with housing, education and activities. I mainly translated documents from English to Spanish and French to Spanish.

A few months after I graduated from UT Austin, I worked for Dell as a Command Center Sr Associate. My main function was to apply communication skills in Spanish, Portuguese and English in order to interpret and translate technical information or to provide technical advice/guidance. The most important thing I learned within a few months was to speak, read and write Portuguese on my own.

On april 2012 I worked as a Spanish Linguist for Adams Globalization in Austin, Texas. I was in charge of translating and proofreading all translated documents, updating glossaries and utilizing reference materials to maintain consistency across projects for individual clients.

On June 2013, I became a freelance translator for Transperfect.
