燃料電池および空気電池(以下、「燃料電池など」ということがある)は、空気中などの酸素を酸化剤とし、燃料となる化合物や負極活物質との化学反応のエネルギーを電気エネルギーとして取り出す電気化学エネルギーデバイスである。前記燃料電池などは、Liイオン電池などの2次電池よりも高い理論エネルギー容量を持ち、自動車搭載用電源、家庭や工場などの定置式分散電源、あるいは、携帯電子機器用の電源などとして利用することができる。前記燃料電池などの正極側では、酸素が還元される電気化学反応が起こる。前記酸素還元反応は、低温では進行しにくい反応であり、一般的には、白金(Pt)などの貴金属触媒により反応を促進させるが、それでも、前記燃料電池などのエネルギー変換効率を下げる主な要因となっている。 | Translation - English
Fuel cells and air batteries (hereafter referred to as Fuel cells) are electrochemical devices which use the atmospheric oxygen as an oxidizing agent and convert the energy generated from the chemical reaction between the chemical compounds from fuels and the anode active material to electrical energy. The above mentioned fuel cells theoretically contain a high energy capacity than the rechargeable Lithium ion cells. Hence they are used as a built in power source for vehicles, as fixed type distributed power for household and factories or as portable power source for electronic devices.
At the cathode of the aforesaid fuel cells, an electrochemical reaction occurs which reduces the oxygen quantity. Due to the reduced oxygen and low temperature, the progress of the reaction gets hindered. In such a condition, generally a precious metal such as Platinum (Pt) is used as a catalyst to accelerate the reaction. However, this becomes the main cause for the reduction of the energy conversion efficiency in the above said fuel cells.

油圧ショベルは、トンネルや地下鉄工事、都市土木工事などに幅広く使われている。最近の油圧ショベルは、トンネル、地下鉄工事や都市土木工事等の狭い作業現場では基礎の梁や電柱等の障害物や油圧ショベルの周辺で作業する作業員との衝突を防止するために、左右の履帯（本発明では履帯トラックフレーム等を含めて下部走行体と言う。）の幅内に上部旋回体を配設して、上部旋回体が旋回しても障害物や作業員に衝突しないようにした、小旋回式油圧ショベルが開発されている。この小旋回式油圧ショベルの作業機の多くは、上部旋回体の前端部にスイングブラケットを介して装着される、所謂スイング式作業機を備えている。また、上部旋回体の略中央の前方側にオフセット式作業機を装着した小旋回式油圧ショベルが開発されている。 | Translation - English
