I have been translating for about 20 years now. I started to translate romance novels in Japan for Harlequin Japan in 1992. I was recognized in a translator's magazine "Honyaku no Sekai" as an excellent translator.
Now I specialize in medical translation, in addition, I translate business, commercial, travel, technical related documents too.
My native language is Japanese. I live in Denver, Colorado. My English is almost native-level too. I graduated from Colorado State University in 2007. I have taken many medical related classes in nursing school and I am familiar with medical terms and situations.
I am a traveller, and have lived in four different countries. I have lots of experience in Asian, European and American cultures, which is very important for translation. I am also fluent in German and Nepali. |
