Aurora Guerrero was born in San Francisco Bay Area, and moved to Los Angeles to study cinema. As she herself later admitted, once she arrived, she fell in love with the city and its incredibly multicultural atmosphere and decided to stay longer than her period of study. She then joined WIM, the Latin American filmmakers group. In 2005 she made her debut as director with the short Pura Lengua, followed by Viernes Girl (2005) and Pandora’s (2008). Mosquita y Mari (2012) is her first feature film, and was presented at the Sundance Film Festival 2012.

BIOGRAFIA
Vaig néixer a la vila d’Eivissa el 1967. Ja de molt petit vaig mostrar interès per la fotografia, gràcies al “tiet Pepito” un oncle del meu pare, gran aficionat a la fotografia, que un any em va regalar una càmera i menjar per a la càmera.
A l’edat d’onze anys em vaig traslladar a Barcelona amb la família, on vaig continuar la meva formació acadèmica i l’interès per la fotografia.
Entre els 17 i els 22 anys, aquest interès va prendre força, ja que vaig començar a fer les primeres gravacions en vídeo dels partits d’hoquei sobre patins per a la secció del Barça. Mentrestant, ja havia iniciat la meva formació audiovisual a l’Escola de Mitjans Audiovisuals (EMAV) i havia rebut classes de realització i producció al Centre d’Iniciatives i Experimentació per a Joves (CIEJ). A TV3 em vaig formar com a Operador d’Imatge i vaig rebre formació especialitzada amb càmeres robotitzades, caps calents, grues, edicions AB Roll, edició no lineal (Final Cut, After Effects) i il·luminació.
La meva experiència en el món audiovisual ve donada per més de vint anys a TV3, com a Operador d’Imatge en els diferents departaments d’Esports, Informatius, Actualitats i Unitats Mòbils.
He realitzat i produït vídeos en empreses com Telefònica, Artur Andersen, Winterthur i Axa, entre altres. També per a institucions com l’Ajuntament de Barcelona, l’Ajuntament de Castellví de Rosanes i el Gran Teatre del Liceu de Barcelona.
He col·laborat en el naixement de la Televisió d’Eivissa i Formentera (TEF), en diferents tasques de coordinació, realització i ensenyament, així com en l’establiment de protocols i dinàmiques de treball.
En el camp de l’ensenyament, he impartit classes de producció, realització i operador d’imatge per la Universitat de Girona i empreses privades del sector docent.
Aquests sis últims anys he format part de l’equip de digitalització de Televisió de Catalunya, on he tingut l’oportunitat de dur a terme tasques com les de formació digital per a la Televisió de les Illes Balears (IB3).
Des de la meva incorporació al món laboral, la fotografia ha estat en un segon pla, fins que l’any 2006 vaig trobar en la fotografia panoràmica un ventall de possibilitats, com la possibilitat de fer visites virtuals mitjançant la xarxa d’internet.

BIOGRAFIA
Sono nato nella città di Ibiza nel 1967. Già da piccolo, mostrai interesse per la fotografia, grazie allo zio “Pepito”, zio di mio padre, che coltivava l’hobby della fotografia e che un anno mi regalò una macchina fotografica con il suo “cibo” (rullini).
All’età di 11 anni andai a vivere a Barcellona con la famiglia, dove poi continuai la mia formazione accademica e l’interesse per la fotografia.
Tra i 17 e i 22 anni, il mio interesse prese forza, infatti cominciai a girare i primi video delle partite d’hockey su pattini per la squadra del Barcellona. Contemporaneamente, avevo iniziato la mia formazione audiovisiva alla Scuola degli Strumenti Audiovisivi (EMAV) e avevo ricevuto lezioni di realizzazione e produzione al Centro d’Iniziativa e Sperimentazione per Giovani (CIEJ). A TV3 mi formai come operatore d’immagine dove ricevetti una formazione specializzata con videocamere robotizzate, gru per videocamere, montaggi analogici (A B roll) e digitali (Final Cut, After Effects) e d’illuminazione fotografica.
La mia esperienza nel mondo audiovisivo conta già più di vent’anni a TV3, come operatore d’immagine in diversi settori: Sport, Informazione, Attualità e Unità Mobili.
Ho realizzato e prodotto video per imprese come Telefonica, Artur Andersen, Winterthur e Axa, ed inoltre, per istituzioni come il Comune di Barcellona, il Comune di Castellví di Rosanes e il Gran Teatro del Liceo di Barcellona.

Source text - English Boots on the shelves, boots hanging from the ceiling, boots in the bedroom, boots on and under the bed. They are black, shining and leather; a total of six hundred of them. This is the personal collection of Celso Junior, a Brazilian artist who, after leading a wandering existence, currently lives in Switzerland. Since his childhood he has had this passion: as a matter of fact, his very first contact with a pair of boots was a real revelation for him- an epiphany, a combination of fear and lust. He has followed this magnificent obsession all his life. Greek film director Panayotis Evangelidis visits Celso's (and his husband's) home, where both live with their cats, where he paints his pictures and, obviously, where there are boots, uniforms and leather clothes of every kind. All this is his life: the reveries, ironies and work of an eccentric fetishist, who is also the entertaining, crazy protagonist, as he says, of many deaths and rebirths.

Source text - English This film is about a "return", narrated through a typical story of coming out. Mausi is a young girl who leaves the village where she was born to live in Hamburg. In the big city she finally lives freely as a homosexual. She soon finds love and the strength to go home to face her past: her mother, first of all, but also her sister, her childhood friend and their female teacher, whom she has been in love with since she was a teenager. Angelina Maccarone, not yet thirty years old, wrote this screenplay, which she co-directed with Alexander Scherer. This was her first film, the first in a long series of films for TV, where in the 90's Maccarone made the topic of female homosexuality familiar to TV viewers. This screenplay won an award from the Hamburg Department of Culture in 1992 and was nominated for the Telestar award in 1995. Ten years later, she made her debut as a cinema director with Fremde Haut.
