Ова е мало зелено место кое природата го благословила со такви спротивности што неможе а да не го освои срцето на посетителот: стрмниот западен брег се состои од една по друга сјајна плажа, додека на исток се простираат заливи со длабоки сенки каде дрвата се простираат се до водата, а во центарот извиени патишта ги поврзуваат селата изградени со камен во традиционален стил.

It is no coincidence that on Zakynthos, the poetry of nature gave way so generously to the poetry of life, and of the art that gives expression to it, for here art and nature come together in harmonious pairing. Home of the Greek poets Andreas Kalvos and Dionysios Solomos, and the playwright Grigorios Xenopoulos, the island always enjoyed a high level of cultural activity, which continues down to the present.

Не случајно, Закинтос, е поезија на природата која дарежливо му дава стих на животот, како и на уметноста која се изразува тука, бидејќи уметноста и животот заедно ствараат хармонија. Дом на грчката цивилизација, на грчките поети Андреас Калвос и Дионис Соломос како и на грчкиот драматург Григорио Ксенопулос, островот отсекогаш уживал во високо ниво на културна активност која продолжува и во сегашноста.
