I have worked for 9 years as a consecutive interpreter for SNCFR (Romanian Railway Administration) in Bucharest, Romania. I was the official interpreter of the top management. I worked as a full time interpreter during a 3 year restructuring project carried out for the Romanian Railway Administration by DB-Consulting, Germany (consulting company) and financed by the World Bank. I accompanied the top management and the consultants (British and German) during a one month study visit to European railways. During this period I worked as the only interpreter of the group for more than 8 hours/day and did mostly voiceover and whispering as follows: Romanian-English, English-Romanian, German-Romanian, Romanian-German.
In 1998 I became a French citizen (I married to a French citizen) and I recently graduated ISIT in Paris, as a Master in Conference Interpreting for A-Romanian, B-Franch, C: English and German. I am now working a a freelance interpreter. Thank you for contacting me at any time for consecutive and simoultaneous interpreting jobs. |
