Bio
I have a full-time job as a Patent Analyst in an IP law firm. After translating batches of patents and documents for the firm, clients, and Chinese associates, I found I am more interested in translation work than legal work. Now I am working part-time as a freelancer translator.

I am a native speaker of Chinese and have lived in the United States for 7.5 years. My TOEFL score was 670 out of 677 when I took the test on paper in 2002 and got full scholarship when I applied for graduate school in Purdue University.

My specialty lies in all subjects of chemistry. I have worked on projects in the areas of pharmaceutical usage of peptides in treating various diseases, fuel cells, paints, and chemical apparatus used in plants. My technical background helps greatly when translating technical documents, because I understand what is talked about in these documents.

Please feel free to contact us: [email protected] with any questions. Thank you.
