In the 20th century, advertisers diversified their advertising across many mediums – such as TV, radio, print, and billboards – to promote their products or services. This diversification is referred to as a marketing mix. As people began spending more time online, the Internet became another channel via which advertisers can market their goods.
Because of the Internet’s versatility, it gives advertisers a good way to reach, engage, and interact with people. Advertisers can produce campaigns that specifically target audiences more effectively than traditional advertising efforts. Online campaigns give advertisers new abilities to reach:
Niche markets with specific interests
Broad audiences with a single message
Large or small geographic segments
Speakers of specific languages
As a result of changing consumer habits and advertiser needs, the vast majority of companies now allocate part of their marketing budget to online advertising. It’s currently the fastest growing advertising category.
Successful online marketing campaigns require the application of the three R’s of advertising: reach, relevance, and return on investment (ROI). Online advertising, AdWords in particular, has given advertisers new possibilities in these three areas:
Reach: More than 170 million people use the Internet in the United States. Our network reaches 80% of these potential customers.
Relevance: AdWords shows ads to potential customers who are actively searching for what businesses have to offer.
Return on investment (ROI): Using analytical tools, advertisers can understand more about the effectiveness of their ads (such as who clicks on them).

Source text - Vietnamese Là một trong những công ty dược phẩm hàng đầu của Việt Nam, Công ty luôn mong muốn mang đến cho người dân Việt Nam những sản phẩm chất lượng cao và phù hợp nhất. Chính vì vậy, việc tập trung cập nhật những phát minh, sáng chế sản xuất dược phẩm, thực phẩm chức năng và nghiên cứu nhu cầu của khách hàng luôn được Viễn Đông đặt trọng tâm ưu tiên hàng đầu. Đồng thời với nghiên cứu đó, Viễn Đông nhanh chóng và tìm kiếm mua bản quyền và cho ra đời các sản phẩm mới độc quyền trên thị trường Việt Nam.
Năm 2007 có thể được xem là mốc son của Công ty khi Viễn Đông đã cho ra đời 16 sản phẩm mới, trong đó có những sản phẩm nổi tiếng như: Ephap, Madona, Mina, Phanaton, Tràng Vido, Trà Thiên tử….. Năm 2008, mặc dù có nhiều yếu tố khách quan không thuận lợi nhưng Viễn Đông vẫn tiếp tục nghiên cứu và sản xuất thêm 8 dòng sản phẩm mới, trong đó có nhiều sản phẩm đã chiếm lĩnh tốt thị trường và trở thành sản phẩm chủ chốt của Công ty. Từ đầu năm 2009 đến nay, Công ty đã phân phối ra thị trường 15 sản phẩm độc quyền hoàn toàn mới như: Vova dưỡng não nang mềm, Hoạt huyết dưỡng não Vido, Modipine, Zenunel, Hepaworld, Merabin, Luxy plus C, Luxy Plus Multi. Dự kiến đến hết năm nay, Viễn Đông sẽ tiếp tục cung cấp ra thị trường ít nhất thêm 5 sản phẩm mới nữa.
Trong thời gian tới, cùng với việc khánh thành nhà máy sản xuất dược phẩm và thực phẩm chức năng của Công ty tại Bắc Ninh, Viễn Đông có thể sẽ cho ra đời hàng loạt sản phẩm độc quyền mới, đáp ứng các nhu cầu khác nhau của khách hàng. Riêng trong năm 2010, Viễn Đông dự kiến sẽ tung ra thị trường 40 sản phẩm độc quyền mới. Đại đa số những sản phẩm này đều đã được công ty mua quy trình công nghệ sản xuất tại nước ngoài.

Year 2007 could be considered as a remark of Vien Dong as it is when the company release 16 new products including some famous brand names, e.g. Ephap, Madona, Mina, Phanaton, Trang Vido, Tra Thien Tu… In 2008, despite several inconvenient factors, Vien Dong still remained researching and produced more 8 new product lines, in which some of them has won in the market and become the key products of the company. Since 2009, the company have distributed to the market 15 new exclusive products, e.g. Vova brain nurtrition capsule, Vido blood nurtrition, Modipine, Zenunel, Hepaworld, Merabin, Luxy plus C, Luxy Plus Multi… In plan, Vien Dong will release 5 more new products to the market.
In coming days, going to gether with opening the pharmaceutical products and functional food production factory in Bac Ninh, Vien Dong will constantly provide more new exclusive products to meet the different customer demands. Particularly in 2010, Vien Dong plan to release 40 new exclusive products whose technology process are mostly purchased from overseas.
