I was born in Ireland. My home language is English. I also speak Irish Gaelic, although not to a fluent level. I have an Engineering degree from the National University of Ireland and an Engineering degree from Universidad del Zulia in Venezuela. I have spent 40 years workng in an electric public utility in Venezuela and in my own Consulting and Design firm in Venezuela. During those years I had to translate technical, safety, contractual and commercial documents from English to Spanish and vice-versa. Now retired, I live in Spain and wish to enter the field of professional translation.
