I've had a passion for words and languages since I was a child. As a whole I studied five languages, but I decided to specialize in English and Chinese.
In 2004, I obtained an English and Chinese Applied Foreign Language Diploma, and in 2005 I graduated with a Chinese Language and Foreign Civilisation Bachelor Degree ; both in the Paul Valéry University in Montpellier, in France.
My degrees included translation courses from French to English, English to French, Chinese to French and French to Chinese from journalistic sources (mainly general, economic and politic topics), and from novels and short stories. The degrees also included courses of economics, civilisation, law and history of the EU.
After my studies I went to London where I lived for three years. This experience helped me to polish my English skills and to get a better understanding of the British culture and way of life.
I got my first translation and interpreting jobs through friends' acquaintances and since 2008 I have been called on a regular basis by my city's Court of Justice for interpreting missions.
I pride myself in being reliable and hardworking and I aim to provide a professional service at all times. Translating is for me not only a work, but also a passion, and I won't hesitate to work day in and day out in order to render a first class work on due time.
