Source text - Spanish In 1 study, 638 patients randomized to 1 of 3 treatment arms following a 1-week lead-in period received:
FARXIGA 10 mg plus metformin XR (up to 2000 mg per day), FARXIGA 10 mg plus placebo, or metformin XR (up to 2000 mg per day) plus placebo.
Metformin XR dose was up-titrated weekly in 500 mg increments, as tolerated, with a median dose achieved of 2000 mg.
The combination treatment of FARXIGA 10 mg plus metformin XR provided statistically significant improvements in HbA1c and FPG compared with either of the monotherapy treatments and statistically significant reduction in body weight compared with metformin XR alone (see Table 7 and Figure 2).

Source text - Spanish The Receiving Party, as a condition to such party’s receipt of Confidential Information from or on behalf of the xxxxxx, hereby undertakes and agrees on its own behalf and on behalf of its Affiliates, to treat Confidential Information as private and confidential. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, the Receiving Party, on behalf of the Receiving party Group, agrees:
a) To take at least the same measures to protect the confidential nature of the Confidential Information as it takes with respect to its own confidential information, but in no event less than reasonable measures in light of the specific nature of the applicable Confidential Information.
b) To take administrative, physical and technical security measures to ensure safe retention and integrity of the Confidential Information and to prevent their unauthorized access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, disposal or similar risk.
c) To restrict its use and to cause other members of the Receiving Party Group to restrict their respective use of any Confidential Information (or access to Confidential Information) solely to the Purpose.
d) Not to disclose and not to give access to, Confidential Information to any third party, except to such member of the Receiving Party Group who need to know such Confidential Information in connection with the Purpose. The Receiving Party shall ensure that the Receiving Party Group is aware and complies with the restrictions contained in this Agreement, and in any event, the Receiving Party and its Affiliates shall be liable to xxxxxx for any breach of this Agreement by any member of the Receiving Party Group.
Translation - English La Parte Receptora, como condición para la recepción de Información Confidencial de parte de o en nombre de xxxxx, por medio del presente, se compromete en nombre propio y en el de sus Afiliadas a tratar la Información bajo carácter privado y confidencial. Sin limitar la generalidades del presente, la Parte Receptora, en nombre del Grupo de la Parte Receptora, acuerda:
a) tomar al menos las mismas medidas para proteger la naturaleza de la Información Confidencial, al igual que lo haría con su propia información confidencial y, en todo caso, con un grado de cuidado no menor al razonable en vista de la naturaleza específica de la Información Confidencial pertinente.
b) Tomar medidas de seguridad administrativas, físicas y técnicas para garantizar la retención e integridad de la Información Confidencial y evitar el acceso, recolección, empleo, divulgación, copiado, modificación, eliminación no autorizado u otro riesgo similar.
c) Restringir la utilización propia y la de otros miembros del Grupo de la Parte Receptora con respecto a la Información Confidencial (o el acceso a dicha Información Confidencial) exclusivamente al Objeto del presente.
d) No divulgar y no conceder acceso a la Información Confidencial a terceros, con la excepción de miembros del Grupo de la Parte Receptora que necesiten conocer dicha Información Confidencial en relación al Objeto del presente. La Parte Receptora deberá garantizar que el Grupo de la Parte Receptora tiene conocimiento y cumple con las restricciones del presente Acuerdo y que, ante cualquier evento, la Parte Receptora y sus Afiliadas serán responsables ante xxxxx por cualquier incumplimiento del Acuerdo por algún miembro del Grupo de la Parte Receptora.
