I am a freelance translator/interpreter focusing on business/financial areas with clients in the financial services, oil and gas and retail sectors.
I can produce from 200 to 400 words of translation per hour, depending on the nature of the text.
I graduated from the Moscow State University with an MA in Russian Language and Literature and English Language and West-European Literature.
I hold a Diploma in Translation from the UK Institute of Linguists.
I have worked for over 15 years translating and interpreting for the financial sector companies, including in-house work for a (now) Big 4 accounting firm and a major American investment bank.
My experience ranges from translation/interpreting in the business/financial areas at manufacturing companies (in a variety of geographical locations, from Uzbekistan to Siberia) to interpreting at board meetings and participation in the execution of landmark transactions in the Russian securities markets (issuers including Gazprom, LUKoil, Neotek, Sistema, Russian Railways and others).
Recently, I participated in the translation of CIMA textbooks on Management Accounting (as part of PWC-led team of translators).
