Source text - English DESCRIPTION OF ILLUSTRATIVE EMBODIMENTS
The present invention provides plants and methods for producing plants comprising non-transgenic mutations that confer a Gy[[3]]2, and Gy4 null phenotype and agronomically elite characteristics. These mutations confer low glycinin and high -conglycinin content to seed of mutant plants. Thus, plants of the invention will be of great value as -conglycinin provides improved nutritional characteristics and solubility as compared to glycinin. Additionally, plants provided herein comprise agronomically elite characteristics, enabling a commercially significant yield of high -conglycinin, low glycinin, soybeans. In certain aspects of the invention, plants with increased -conglycinin contents comprise non-transgenic null alleles for Gy[[3]]2, and/or Gy4 and therefore have the additional advantage of reduced governmental regulation as compared to soybean varieties containing corresponding transgenic alleles at these loci. Also provided are plants that further comprise non-transgenic Gy1 and Gy[[2]]3 null alleles and also provide such benefits.

Source text - English Extracellular stimuli such as those described above are generated in a number of chronic diseases which are now understood to have a common underlying pathophysiology termed inflammation. An environmental insult or local cell damage activates cellular response pathways, including but not limited to p38; local cells then generate cytokines and chemokines, in turn recruiting lymphocytes such as neutrophils and other granulocytes. In a secondary response, the consequences include recruitment of additional lymphocytes such as additional phagocytic cells or cytotoxic T cells, and ultimately the adaptive immune response is initiated through activation of T cells. It is not currently fully understood how this acute inflammatory response becomes a chronic response leading to diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis (RA), athersclerosis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), etc. Nevertheless, the features of inflammation are recognized to contribute to a large number of chronic diseases and pathways such as the p38 pathway are accepted to contribute to the initiation of inflammatory diseases.
